Accessibility statement
Last updated: 25 October 2026
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, screen magnification or voice control. This statement explains how accessible the site is and how to tell us about problems.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the level referred to by the European standard for accessible digital services (EN 301 549).
How we checked
On 25 October 2026 we tested the main pages of the site in Greek and English (home, services, projects, articles, about, contact and the legal pages) with the axe-core automated checker, against the WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules. It found two issues, low colour contrast on some text and a skipped heading level, and both have been fixed.
Automated checks find only some barriers, so we also welcome reports from people who use the site.
What the site does
- Text and background colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio.
- Pages use headings, landmarks and labels in a logical order, and every form field has a visible label.
- Images have text alternatives, and purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Each page declares its language, Greek or English, so screen readers pronounce it correctly.
- The animated network on the home page has a text description and stays still when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Buttons and links show a visible outline when you move through the page with a keyboard.
Known limitations
Some articles are available in English only. Project pages show screenshots of client websites; their text alternatives describe the page as a whole rather than every detail in it.
Tell us about a problem
If you find a barrier on this website, email contact@oryaone.com with the page address and what happened. We will reply and, where we can, fix the problem or send you the information in another format.
